How Nexus FileClean handles files and technical information

Welcome to Nexus FileClean ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use our services and how we protect your privacy.

1. About the App

Nexus FileClean is designed to help you browse and organize files stored on your Android device. You can view photos, videos, audio files, compressed archives, and other supported file types, understand how your storage is being used, and remove files you no longer need. All file management activities are performed directly on your device.

2. Storage Permission

To provide its primary functionality, the App requests the All Files Access permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This permission allows the App to scan storage locations, display your files in different categories, calculate storage usage, and remove files only when you choose to do so. Without this permission, the App would be unable to provide complete file management across your device.

3. How Your Information Is Processed

Your personal files remain on your device at all times. The App does not upload, copy, or store the contents of your photos, videos, documents, audio files, or archives on our servers. File analysis, categorization, and deletion are completed locally, giving you full control over your own data.

4. Information Collected

Although the App does not collect the contents of your files, certain technical information may be processed automatically to support analytics, application stability, and service improvement. This information may include anonymous device identifiers, device model, operating system version, application version, crash logs, and general usage statistics. These data do not identify the contents of your files.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use trusted third-party services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, an Attribution Platform, and a Data Analytics Platform to understand application performance, measure installations, analyze usage trends, and improve reliability. In addition, advertising partners may process advertising identifiers and information about installed applications for advertising or marketing purposes. These services do not receive the contents of the files stored on your device.

6. Data Retention

Technical information collected through third-party services is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or to comply with applicable legal requirements. When the information is no longer needed, it will be deleted or anonymized according to the policies of the respective service providers.
